Who we are
A collective of visionary scholar-practitioners who believe leadership is a practice of becoming.

Erica Hernandez-Scott, Ph.D.
Founder & CEO
Dr. Erica Hernandez-Scott is a scholar-practitioner, educator, and systems thinker committed to reimagining leadership and learning as pathways to liberation. With deep roots in education and community-based work, Erica brings together research, lived experience, and relational practice to support educators and leaders working closest to students and families. Her work is grounded in the belief that policy lags behind practice, and that the most sustainable change emerges from those doing the day-to-day work of teaching, leading, and caring. Rather than centering bureaucracy, Erica centers people—especially educators and communities of color whose brilliance is often constrained by rigid systems not designed with them in mind. As CEO, Erica leads with a people-first ethic, prioritizing relationships, collective wisdom, and human development over transactional outcomes. She believes work should be life-giving, intellectually rigorous, and aligned with values—not something that erodes joy or requires recovery. Erica is accountable to the communities she serves and the ancestors whose sacrifices make this work possible. Her leadership invites others to grow roots, practice courage, and build learning environments where liberation is not a metaphor, but a lived experience.
Our values
Humanity first
We meet leaders and learners as whole people — not roles, titles, or problems to solve. We will honor your personhood, and we aim to be of service to humanity.
People over profit
While no one's labor is free, collective liberation requires community. If we are kindred spirits and our values align, we can work together to make the best use of your resources.
Preparation matters
If education is a practice of freedom, then teacher education is the intentional preparation and awakening of those called to make freedom manifest.
