About this session
Great classroom teachers are not automatically prepared to become teacher educators. Whether you are a mentor teacher, instructional coach, adjunct instructor, doctoral student, or newly appointed faculty member, the transition from classroom teacher to teacher educator requires more than expertise in teaching children. It requires learning how to teach adults, support teacher candidates, bridge theory and practice, facilitate professional inquiry, and develop a professional identity as a teacher educator. This intensive supports educators making that transition.
